North and South of London
Brighton and Nottingham have some of the best log cabin holiday spots around and they are the places to be in Britain over the next few months. Both districts have an abundance of events to suit every taste and to bring us through spring and into summer with a bang and a roar.
It won’t be a lion’s roar though when you choose to head north of London to Nottinghamshire. The greatest circus show on earth is playing next month. The Beyond Gravity Circus is a spectacular and mind boggling crowd pleaser even without lions! Playing at the Concert Hall for one night only the circus offers just one of many wonderful things to see and do in Nottinghamshire. Other ongoing and special events in the legendary region are also well worth seeing.
The Robin Hood Pageant is of course a true family favourite and it is one of many gigs in Nottingham to offer insight into the legendary past of the hero who stole from the rich to give to the poor. If music and the arts are more your thing, then be sure to visit the local theatres and concert halls. These offer ongoing entertainment for every taste and budget. And for food lovers there is the Nottingham Food and Drink Festival.
For those who want to head south, Brighton is another English hot spot for things to do and see. The Brighton Fringe and Main Festival is sure to delight or at least make you gasp! The Brighton Markets are always operational and the Foodies Festival Brighton is just around the corner.
Both Brighton and Nottingham are a couple of hours drive outside of London central. Both areas have log cabin holiday accommodations to make an overnight stay economical and worthwhile. So, if you are a Londoner, or perhaps visiting London for the Royal Wedding, these are two great locations, either north or south, or why not do a loop. There is really so much to do outside of London Central.
