Mid Wales log cabins

Mid Wales, also known as the Midlands, is an area of Central Wales which includes Ceredigion and Powys counties. The Cambrian Mountains provide a backdrop for a landscape of rolling hills, bogs, and Welsh Oak forests. The area is vast and can seem empty, and is often referred to as the “Desert of Wales”. In reality, Mid Wales is rich in history and rural culture. Castles and ancient historical sites spot the countryside, and small villages offer unique shopping experiences. Mid Wales also boasts an array of outdoor activities, including fishing, biking, sightseeing, bird watching, mountain climbing and white water rafting. The isolation of parts of Mid Wales means horseback riding is the way to get around and explore. A log cabin holiday in Wales will provide quiet, peace, relaxation, and cultural stimulation.
