If you are looking for a relaxing break or romantic getaway in a peaceful log cabin in North Yorkshire and the Vale of York then the Oakwood Lodges are the perfect place. The Oakwood Lodges are located in North Yorkshire near Duffield and York, with York being only a short 20 minute drive away. The log cabins are excellently positioned within the beautiful and picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, a collection of low hills throughout East Riding and North Yorkshire.
The Oakwood Lodges consist of a total of four seperate lodges catering for between two or four people. The lodges have been extensively furnished to a high standard and have a modern and contemporary feel. In addition all of the lodges come with an outdoor decking area plus a private hot tub to enjoy those long summer evenings.
Acorn Lodge
The Acorn lodge caters for two people and is a stylish open plan lodge. The accommodation has one double bedroom with a featured bed. It also come with a free standing bath and a walk in double shower.
Oak Lodge
The Oak Lodge is similar to the Acorn lodge but, slightly larger, thus enabling it to accommodate four persons in the additional twin bedroom. The decor is again stylish and contemporary with a private outdoor hot tub. The Oak lodge is the only cabin on the site that allows pets (small breeds) at an additional £40 per week.
Bramble Lodge
The Bramble Lodge caters for up to four persons, it comes recently renovated in 2009 providing contemporary decor and stylish living space. With an open plan living space the Bramble lodge will feel like a home from home.
Cedar Lodge
The new in 2010 Cedar Lodge offers the latest in comfort and up to date facilities. With the freestanding bath and and the double walk in shower room which doubles up as a steam room, you can enjoy a relaxing or romantic break in this two person lodge.
