This location makes it an excellent base for exploring the Vale of York, the many market towns or the East coast of Yorkshire. These luxury lodges boast excellent facilities and two storey accommodation. With the open plan kitchen / dining / lounge on the ground floor the first floor provides the bedrooms, the master having ensuite facilities.

Yellowtop Country Park FoggaThorpe, York

This peaceful retreat is situated between York and the market town of Beverley and is at the gateway to the Yorkshire Wolds. These four lodges overlook a small lake and are an excellent spot for a weekend getaway. You have a choice between lodges that sleep from 2 to 5 people.
Once you set up in your cozy lodge with its four-poster bed you can plan your relaxing days. Fishing in the local lake is available and Beverley is a great place to shop and stop into a pub. For some history, visit York and take a tour of the famous York Minster, one of Europe’s best cathedrals.

Set on pretty wooded grounds, this little park has its own lake as a beautiful focal point. York Lakeside Lodges give you the feel of the country but the convenience of having the history and activities of York only two miles away. There is even bus service into the city every 10 minutes so you can go explore things like Cliffords Tower or the Jorvik Museum to see what life was like for the Vikings in York.
